Eddie Money also known as the hardest working man in Rock and Roll lost his battle with Cancer today on 9/13/2019 at the age of 70 years old.   I remember back in August of 2012 when I did an interview with him, since he was going to be playing the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk that night.  When the Tulare County Fair came around on September 12, 2014 Eddie came and played.  He was an amazing man with a huge heart.  He was so wonderful with my son Brandon who has Autism.  Eddie explained that he also has a relative with special needs and people with special needs hold a place in his heart.  

I was shocked when I learned of his Stage 4 esophageal cancer not long back, I was floored to come into work this morning to find out he had passed away.  Earlier this year in May he had a minor heart procedure and ended up with some pneumonia complications.  This actually caused the doctors to have to postpone his cancer treatment.  I know he fought the best he could. 

He will be missed so much!  He is one of my favorite rockers!  Click here to listen to the interview!
